Gearing Up 4 STEM is thrilled to announce our next release of available funds to support STEM education in Northern Nevada! 

What: These funds are available to all educators (K-12) with the specific use to be towards STEM education. This includes any education regarding Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics. The funds can be used towards resources needed such as supplies, speakers, training, professional development, and curriculum. 

Amount: Educators can apply for up to $250, with an average expected amount of $100.

Who is Eligible to Apply: All educators in the following counties of Northern Nevada – Humboldt, Elko, Eureka, White Pine, Lander, Pershing, Churchill, Mineral, Washoe, Storey, Carson City, Lyon, Douglas

Applications Due: October 31, 2019

Awardees Announced: November 6, 2019
Funds Dispersed: November 8, 2019
PLEASE NOTEIf multiple classrooms are seeking funding for the same project, do not submit duplicate applications. Submit one application per project and use the application to define number of students/classrooms impacted as well as list partnering teachers in the “Key Personnel” section.

Please check the box to agree to the conditions that recipients of these funds agree to provide feedback (pictures, post write-up, certificate, etc) within 6 months of funding to report back the success of the funds. The recipient also agrees to allow Gearing Up 4 STEM to use the supplied feedback for use for marketing or on social media.
